Divine Wisdom Verses Worldly Wisdom !

There are two types, or two kinds of wisdom in this world.There is Divine wisdom, and human wisdom; there is spiritual wisdom, and earthly wisdom; there is a wisdom related to time, and there is a wisdom that is related to eternity.There is a wisdom from above, and there is a wisdom from below. There is a wisdom which comes from God and there is a wisdom which comes from the world.Man must decide, or choose that which will direct his life.He can follow the wisdom of this world and suffer death, or he can follow the wisdom ofGod, and find life.   reveals to us that the wisdom of this world is earthly, sensual, and devilish. leads to confusion, and every evil work.(Jas. 3:15,16)Paul said that he did not the gospel of Christ with worldy wisdom, that is with the enticing words of man's (1 Cor 2:4)He preached a crucified Jesus in plain language, and told the people that that Jesus who was crucified at Jerusalem was the Son of God and Saviour of men. This truth needed no artificial dress; it shone out with the greatest majesty in its own light, and in the world by its divine authority, and the demonstration of the Spirit, without any help.The plain preaching of a crucified Jesus was more powerful than all the oratory philosophy of the heathen world.Earthly wisdom leads to darkness, and separation from .Divine wisdom leads to salvation, and fellowship with God.                                          Wesley R.
