Good Works Counts With God

Paul pointed to Titus that he must be engaged in good works.He said to him, "In all things showing thyself a pattern of good works: in doctrine showing uncorruptness, gravity, sincerity,(Tit. 2:7)The grace of God does not mean that we must not do good works.The grace of God was designed to help us do good works.After revealing that we are saved by the grace of God, Paul made it very clear that the christian saved by God's grace are God's workman.Listen these words, "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them."(Eph. 2:10)   By good works, we are letting our lights shine in a world of darkness.As it is written, "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."(Matt. 5:16)This is why the church must call on men and women to change their lives from one of disobedience to one of obedience.For obedience is the key to good works.Let God's word enlighten you."This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men."(Tit. 3:8)   said, “And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.”(Rev. 22:12)Good Works count with God.Good works brings great joy; while sinful works bring shame, and disgrace. We must do His work, or be denied assess to the Tree of Life.Get right with God, and stay right!And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:"(2 Cor. 9:8)                                          Wesley R.
